Mike and Jamie

We are very happy to welcome Jamie Sylves and Mike Quinn to the Smith Brothers Family! Jamie joins SBA as the Associate Director of PR and Social Media, while Mike was named Digital Development Director.

With 10 years of experience in the public relations and social space, Jamie Sylves joins SBA as Associate Director of Social & PR. Jamie comes to SBA from DeVries Global in New York City, where she led digital and social communications strategy on behalf of numerous clients, including Pantene, SWASH and P&G Beauty. In addition, she was charged with creating insight-driven, integrated-marketing campaigns with a focus on digital and social content to persuade purchase intent, developing holistic brand playbooks and launching influencer marketing campaigns with a focus on video. Highlights of her career include working on the London 2012 Olympics, planning globally recognized P&G thought-leadership/launch summits, driving Pantene’s YouTube Ambassador program to become a BIC brand on the platform and managing publisher content partnerships. Jamie is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Psychology.

As a Digital Development Director with more than 12 years of experience in delivering interactive experiences via web technologies, Mike has been involved with building and managing development teams in the Pittsburgh area to tackle a wide range of project complexities. During his early career, Mike worked as a freelancer for several Pittsburgh agencies. This helped him quickly learn to manage the high demands of web development. From there, he moved on to become the lead developer at a local web design firm. Continuing his work with startup companies, Mike helped establish (and ultimately became the Digital Development Manager of) another digital development company which focused on connecting their clients with interactive and innovative solutions to help meet their demands. Expanding this company’s capabilities, he opened the doors for mobile app development and helped his clients understand the benefits of creating engaging tools and useful software for mobile devices. In these roles, Mike has worked with a wide range of businesses ranging from La Prairie, an ultra-high-end anti-aging skin care company, to Carnegie Mellon University, a word-wide leader in education. Mike is a graduate of the Pittsburgh Technical Institute with an associate’s degree in specialized technologies.
