Facebook Creates Online Creative Hub In A Bid To Simplify Creation of Ads

Facebook ads, like those on many platforms, started out relatively simple. But as Facebook has rolled out ad products at a growing clip, some of the products have changed the way brands and agencies need to approach creative, especially in mobile. To help marketers keep ads coming, not to mention make the shift to mobile advertising, the company is now introducing Creative Hub, an online platform for agencies, brands and anyone involved in the creation of ads on Facebook, really, to share, review, test and create ads on Facebook and Facebook-owned Instagram. The Emoji In Your Next Tweet Could Trigger An Ad

If you thought tweeting smiley-faced emoji would confuse advertisers and help you hide from their ad targeting, think again. Twitter said on Wednesday that it would now let advertisers target users based on these small cartoonish expressions of emotions like a teary face or interests like football. Advertisers will be able tap one of several Twitter ad partners, show ads to users who tweet, or engage with tweets containing particular emojis. – Time

Twitter Now Lets You Retweet Yourself

Just in case you didn’t sufficiently make your point the first time, Twitter now lets you retweet yourself. The microblogging service announced the news on Tuesday, retweeting a tweet it posted back in 2009 when the retweet feature first went live for all users (say that five times fast). – PC Mag
