Instagram scheduling tool Later shared the iOS screenshots in a blog post, and offered details on the available information to profiles with access to these features. According to Later, Instagram business profiles now feature a chart icon in the upper-right-hand-corner, giving them access to analytics.
Available analytics include:
- Location: follower locations by country or city.
- Gender and age of followers.
- Insights, which includes impressions, reach, website clicks and follower activity (most popular times of day or days of the week when the profile’s followers are using Instagram).

Pinterest starts testing video ads – Pinterest’s long-awaited video ads have arrived. Promoted video pins are being tested among a small group of users, and internally at Pinterest, according to one source briefed on the tests. The source said that the videos employ an autoplay function that sets them in motion when a user stops scrolling over them. Pinterest is testing video ad length, according to sources. Facebook to Launch Reactions ‘In the Next Few Weeks’
The Reactions extension to Facebook’s like button, initially announced by co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg last September, will be officially launched “in the next few weeks.” Chief product officer Chris Cox broke the news to Bloomberg Businessweek as part of a profile of Cox and a detailed look at how Reactions came to be. Cox told Bloomberg Businessweek he originally brought up the idea of tinkering with the like button at an off-site meeting to discuss projects six top executives were most eager to take on in 2015. According to Cox, the project began with researchers narrowing down the most frequent responses to posts into six reactions– angry, sad, wow, haha, yay and love.
