Steve leads the agency’s interactive account team, working closely with clients to align interactive strategy and tactics to deliver the brands’ objectives. Steve and his team are responsible for managing all aspects of planning and execution – meeting deadlines, staying within budget and keeping clients in the loop along the way.
After five years as a tennis pro, Steve retired his racquet and put his liberal arts degree to work selling online media for a regional sports network. He was drawn to the agency side and jumped at the offer to join a small agency in Pittsburgh. Steve wore a lot of hats (He’s a size 8 by the way) writing copy, buying media, managing accounts, and eventually starting the agency’s interactive marketing department where he found his true passion in digital marketing.
Steve has since led successful initiatives for major brands such as GNC, Mellon Financial, Del Monte Foods, Levi Strauss, EDMC, Nestlé and Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to joining Smith Brothers, he was the Director of Strategy and Planning at Ripple Effects Interactive.
Steve holds a BA in Philosophy and English from Allegheny College.
